Tigers hope to finish 2013 season with victory over rival Southeastern

Ada —

ECU's Jo Jo Snell could have his Beep Beep moments all afternoon against this team. That would be worth the price of admission right there. As a team, the Tigers LOST 21 yards rushing in a 52-30 loss at Harding last week.

ECU fans will get a chance to look at senior Fred Gaines for the last time as a collegian. The pre-season All-American pick has been on a roll in recent games.

So has junior Qumain Black, an All-American honorable mention pick as a sophomore last season.

Don't let this get out, but he's probably got a step more speed than the Roadrunner, Beep Beep Snell.

Quarterback Spencer Bond has 166 completions in 324 attempts with 14 picks. Southeastern's Nick Sioson has completed 252 of 441 passing attempts with 16 picks.

The Tigers spotted the Savages a 17-point halftime lead last season before they put out the Storm with 31 unanswered points in the second half.

The Tiger defense limited Southeastern to just 14 yards on the ground in the final 30 minutes.

A happy ending is in store for one of these rivals Saturday afternoon. The story should be a good one, too.
