Micah Simmer had a strong pitching effort and Walker Whitworth collected three hits and drove in five runs as the Ada Cougars routed host Harrah 10-1 in six innings Saturday in high school baseball action.
Simmer gave up just three hits and three walks while striking out four in working six complete innings. The lone Panther run was earned.

Whitworth went 3-for-4 with a double to go with the five RBIs and scored twice to ignite the Cougars’ nine-hit attack.
Garrett Beam was 2-for-3 and knocked in a pair of runs, while Easton Pingleton went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and scored a run. Ada’s two other hits came from Dalton Wolf and Jake Boone, whowere 1-for-3 each and scored twice.
