NOTEWORTHY: Hunter Larsh allowed just seven hits, walked one and struck out six in seven complete innings while Dalton Reed hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning as Roff upended Navajo, 6-2, on Friday in the Union City-El Reno Festival. Both Navajo runs were unearned. Reed went 2-for-4 with three runs batted in and a run scored. C.J. Johnson went 3-for-3 from the plate as the Tigers finished with eight hits. Roff broke a scoreless deadlock with one run in the bottom of the fourth, four scores in the fifth and a single run in the sixth.

NOTEWORTHY: C.J. Johnson allowed just three hits in 5 2/3 innings and Dalton Reed went 2-for-3 from the plate with a triple, one RBI and a run scored as Roff shut out Hammon, 4-0, on Friday in the Union City-El Reno Festival. Johnson struck out six and walked only one. Mike Anderson got the save in 1 1/3 innings of work. He allowed only one hit and no walks while striking out two. The Tigers tallied two runs apiece in the fourth and fifth innings.

NOTEWORTHY: Noble’s Brayden Buol and Cecil Jennings combined for a four-inning, two-hit shutout as Noble blanked Roff, 11-0, on Thursday in the Union City-El Reno Festival. Caleb Black went 2-for-3 with two doubles, three runs batted in and two runs scored. The Tigers’ only hits came from Mike Anderson (1-for-2) and Andy Antonio (1-for-2). The Bears scored five first-inning runs and added three scores each in the second and third innings. Starter Dalton Reed suffered the loss.
