That’s where every softball team that enters regional tournament play Thursday hopes to be next week — the final game of the state tournament.
When discussing her squad’s upcoming Class A Regional Tournament in Coleman, Tupelo head coach Missy Rogers talked about the Lady Tigers trying not only to earn a trip to state, but to play in the final game. Anything less will be very disappointing to Rogers and her team.
Tupelo enters the regional tournament as the No. 3 team in Class A and sports a glossy 26-5 record.
