Southeastern takes two from ECU softball team

The Savage Storm then added four runs to their total in the fifth for a 13-6 advantage.

ECU was able to add one more run in the sixth for a 13-7 final. Tigert led off with a double down the left field line and was sent home after the first two outs of the inning were recorded when Suydam singled.

Game 2


SEOSU was again the first to score with a run in the top of the first inning.

The Lady Tigers took a lead after the second with three runs. McGraw led off with a double and was joined on base by Patterson, who drew a walk. Marcum loaded the bases with a single and Nordie sent all three home with a double to left field for the 3-1 lead.

The Savage Storm kept pushing and added four runs in the third, three in the fifth and one in the seventh for a 9-3 advantage.

ECU was able to earn one run in the bottom of the seventh, but fell 9-5. Sophomore Amanda Edmundson added the run with her second home run of the season.
