NOTEWORTHY: Tarin Dubler fired in 19 points, including two 3-pointers, as the Asher Lady Indians hammered Macomb, 61-29, on Tuesday night in the first round of the Tri-County Tournament in Shawnee. Also scoring in double figures for the Lady Indians were Shelby Fleming with 14 and Tristan Milburn with 12. Shania Pace led the Lady Hornets with 10 points in a losing effort. Asher jumped out to an 18-5 lead after one quarter and went on to a 33-13 halftime advantage. The Lady Indians led 46-21 through three periods.

NOTEWORTHY: The Vanoss Wolves connected on 12 three-pointers in rolling to a 67-19 rout of visiting Wynnewood on Tuesday. Jacob Grimm, who nailed two treys, led Vanoss with 14 points while Cody Tharp, who also knocked down a pair of 3-pointers, ended up with nine points. Three other Wolves – Ryan Hatcher, Blake Cooper and Mason Merritt – finished with six points apiece and each hit two treys. Vanoss jumped out to an 11-4 advantage, led 28-7 at halftime and was up by a 43-15 margin through three quarters. The Wolves then outscored the Savages, 24-4, in the fourth in going away.
