The Red Oak, Texas, native started her Tiger career as a member of the volleyball team from 2008 to 2010.  Holombek left ECU as the career leader in attack percentage, hitting .267 (588 kills-194 errors-1478 total attempts) in her two-year career.  Despite playing just two seasons, she also ranks in the top 10 in kills (fourth at 588), total attempts (seventh at 1478), service aces (fifth at 68), block assists (fifth at 99), block solos (second at 33), total blocks (third at132) and digs (10th at 305).  She claimed honorable mention All-Lone Star Conference accolades as a senior.

Holombek transferred to ECU from Navarro Junior College (Texas) where she was a member of the volleyball squad (2006-07).

Holombek earned her bachelor of science in business administration in 2011 and a master in secondary education – sports administration in 2012 from ECU.

The Lady Tigers will open the 2013-14 season against Southwest Christian, Saturday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. in the Kerr Activities Center.
