Ada Home Depot crew to reveal home renovations this evening

Ada —

Home Depot has a gift in store for Ada resident Tonja Millberry: A renovated home with new floors and fresh paint.

Team Depot volunteers have renovated the home at 1028 E. Sixth St. for Millberry, a veteran who has battled cancer and recovered from two broken ankles, according to a news release from the foundation. The volunteers painted the interior of Millberry’s home, installed new flooring, upgraded the landscaping and refinished the porch.

The team will reveal the renovations to Millberry’s home to the public at 5 p.m. today, then reveal the work to Millberry at 6.

The Millberry home is a project of the Home Depot Foundation, dedicated to improving the homes of American veterans by using financial and volunteer resources to help nonprofit organizations, according to the news release.
