Economic development VP named

Ada —  

Joe Hill spent the past five years working for U.S. Rep. Dan Boren, serving as the congressman’s eyes and ears in Oklahoma’s 2nd District.

As Boren’s field representative, Hill served as a direct link between 2nd District residents and various federal agencies. He also relayed information from Boren’s constituents to the congressman.

Now, Hill is hoping to apply the lessons he learned in that job to a new position.

Hill, 29, is the new vice president of economic development for the Ada Jobs Foundation which promotes economic development opportunities in Ada. He replaces former staffer Ann Miller, who resigned in November 2012 to become the executive director for the Buda (Texas) Economic Development Corp.
