Water line replacement to affect people on West 15th

Ada — The city will replace a 6-inch water main on the west side of town Thursday, which means some residents will be without water for part of a day.

People who live on West 15th Street between Cherry and Hickory will lack water from about 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. while crews replace the water line, information director Mark Bratcher said in a news release. Homes within half a block north or south of West 15th may also be affected.

The intersection of Johnston and West 15th will be closed to traffic during the project that day. Water service will be restored as quickly as possible.

For more information, contact the Ada Public Works Authority at 436-8100.
