Mercy Hospital president leaving post

Ada — Mercy Hospital Ada President Kent Rogers is stepping down after three years in office.

Marketing director Barbara Miller confirmed Rogers’ departure on Monday but declined to say whether he was resigning or had been terminated.

“He will now be exploring other possibilities,” Miller said. “We are grateful for Kent’s dedication and commitment over the past three years and wish him the very best.”

She said the hospital’s commitment to Ada will continue, and officials will begin recruiting a new president immediately.

Rogers declined to comment when contacted by an Ada News reporter.

Additional information was not available by press time.
