Democrats to meet Thursday

Ada — The Pontotoc County Democratic Party will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Oct. 25 in the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce meeting room, 219 W. Main.

The meeting will cover final preparations for the upcoming election including neighborhood canvasing, phone banks, and yard sign placements. Yard signs will be available for President Obama, Dona Bebo and Susan Paddack. The party will discuss watch party locations for the Nov. 6 general election. The watch party will be considered the November meeting, Charles Peaden, party chair, stated. Any questions concerning upcoming plans may be directed to Peaden at 580-332-1994.
