Ada High awarded $60,000

Ada —

Ada High School will receive a $60,000 grant to encourage students to pursue advanced courses.

Ten Oklahoma schools, including Ada High, won grants from the state Department of Education for the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program. Each school received $60,000 for a total of $600,000 in grant funding.

The recipients may renew the grants for another two years if necessary.
