Ada —

A 50-year-old Ada woman was the victim of an early morning auto crash Monday at the intersection of County Road 3570 and County Road 1510.

According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Teresa Leann Jones's condition was listed as stable at Valley View Regional Hospital in Ada after being rushed there by EMS Valley View.

She suffered neck and arm injuries after the 2006 Acura four-door sedan she was driving south failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and ran off the roadway, striking a tree. The car overturned an undetermined amount of times before coming to rest in a creek.

The cause of collision was listed on the OHP report as driving under the influence.

Trooper Justin Pope of Pontotoc County was assisted in the wreck by Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department and Ada Fire Department.
