ECU music faculty presents 'Sound the Trumpet' recital

Ada —  

East Central University music faculty members Melody Baggech, Doug Laramore  and Rudy Lupinski will present “Sound the Trumpet,” a recital featuring music for soprano and trumpet, Thursday, April 4, at 7:30 p.m. at the Ada Arts and Heritage Center.

The performance will include music of A. Scarlatti, G.F. Handel, Rossini, Purcell and local composers Victoria Davison and Lupinski, as well as several jazz pieces. The concert will be assisted by Bronson Warren on contrabass and Ben Finley on drums.

The concert is free and open to the public.
