Fun, activities planned for Stratford Peach Festival

The 37th annual Stratford Peach Festival will be held at the Stratford City Park on Saturday. There will be something for everyone to enjoy.

The Stratford PTO kicks off the festival with the 5K Bulldog Run. Registration opens at 6 a.m. and the run begins at 6:30 a.m., followed by the Fun Run/Walk at 7 a.m. A free pancake breakfast will be sponsored by the Stratford Ministerial Alliance and local churches from 7-9 a.m. 

Welcome and opening ceremonies will begin at 9 a.m., followed by sign-up for the peach cook-off. There are three age divisions in the cook-off: youth, teens and adults. Contestants should arrive at the pavilion with their prepared dish at 9:15 a.m. Judging begins at 9:30 a.m.
