Local talent to compete Saturday at McSwain Theatre

Ada —

McSwain Theatre’s Grand Awards Show preliminary “Top Female Performer” competition will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Jessy Beasley Harris, Karissa Davis, Debbie Allen, Mary Wood, Haley Miller, Donna Marie, Ann Young, Laurie Speed, Teagan Tulley, Megan Reid, Sarah Burrows and Sami Jo will perform. The competition showcases the best local talent and allows the audience to choose their favorites via ballot voting. Jae L. Stilwell and the Crossover Band will host.

In the preliminary competitions, participants vie for awards in five categories: best gospel and group performers, male and female performers, and best 16-and-under performer.
