Family survives scary ride

Ada —

Emergency officials investigated a wreck where a motorhome crashed into a house in the 1900 block of Hampton Way Monday. The  crash left an Ada woman injured and her family shaken. The woman told police she was driving the motorhome down Hampton Court when the brakes failed.

The motorhome crashed into a parked car as well as the house. At right, firefighters had to remove portions of the motorhome to get to the driver who's leg was pinned. She was taken by Valley View EMS to Valley View Regional Hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries. Her husband and son, who were passengers in the vehicle, were treated at the scene for minor injuries. Names of those involved were not available by press time Monday.
