Ada residents discuss vision for city

 Ada residents took the first steps Thursday toward planning Ada’s direction for the next decade.

About 80 people turned out for a “community visioning” meeting at the Industrial Technology Center, 601 W. 33rd St. The city of Ada, Ada Area Chamber of Commerce and Ada Jobs Foundation hosted the meeting, which was part of the community’s “Take PART (Planning Ada Right ... Together)” project.

The project is designed to produce a vision for the community’s future and a road map for reaching Ada’s short- and long-term goals.
