Brothers seek Ada City Council posts

Ada —

Bill and Don Rice had contemplated running for Ada City Council before, but the timing never seemed right.

Don Rice is running against Mayor Greg McCortney for the at-large position on the council, and his younger brother, Bill, is competing against incumbent Councilman Darrell Nemecek for the Ward 3 seat.

Only two candidates have filed for each vacancy on the city council, so there will not be a general election in April. That means the winners of the primary election will capture the open seats.
