Ada —

One undercover drug operation by the Ada Police Department led to the arrest of six alleged marijuana customers a day later at 907 Orchard last week.

Members of the APD Narcotics Division served a felony warrant on Roy Smith and officers then received permission to search the home, according to Detective Kathy Johnson.

Once inside the home, narcotics officers smelled marijuana and found 2.3 pounds of it and $3,033 in cash, along with paraphernalia — like digital scales, a glass pipe and rolling paper, authorities allege.

They also discovered five white pills believed to be hydrocodone in the kitchen cabinet. Four other pills were taken from a second person inside the home, who was identified as Carola Neeley by police.

Both Smith and Neeley face pending charges with the Pontotoc County District Attorney’s office.

Smith’s felony warrant had been issued out of Garvin County on Oct. 24.
