Ada —

Residents were feeling the first waves of cold air that will filter into the Ada area over the next day or so.

The National Weather Service said at noon Thursday, the temperature in Centrahoma was 56 degrees but the temperature in Lane was 75.

The second fall cold front of the early fall season will bring the mercury sharply down over the next few days but then a gradual warm-up is forecast next week, Pike said.
