Fundraiser needed to fix roof, floors at Ada Arts and Heritage Center

Ada —

The ornamental copper above the front door of the Ada Arts and Heritage Center is curling upward, and half a dozen roof tiles are broken.

Strong winds and age haven taken their toll on the roof, which is leaking and damaging the building’s interior. But fixing the roof isn’t the only project on the center’s to-do list.

That list includes replacing the center’s sign and stabilizing the floor in the music room, where the shifting foundation is damaging the walls.
