Oklahoma Lt. Governor Todd Lamb will be the keynote speaker in Ada Friday during the 50th anniversary celebration being held by CLEET, the organization that trains and certifies law enforcement personnel.
Norma Floyd, an administrative assistant for CLEET, said a formal ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at CLEET.
Other speakers who will be on hand are state Sen. Susan Paddack and state Rep. Todd Thomsen
Those attending the ceremony should enter through the main administrative part of the building, Floyd said.
Staff members will be giving tours of the entire facility. Buses will also be provided to take interested persons down to the driving track.
The open house begins at 9 a.m. and continues through 4 p.m.
Different staff members will host parts of the tour that cover their respective areas of expertise.
The ceremonial portion of the day’s events is expected to last about 45 minutes.
Refreshments will be served.
