Neal McCaleb named ambassador for Chickasaw Nation

Ada —

Chickasaw Nation Governor Bill Anoatubby has named Neal McCaleb ambassador at large for the Chickasaw Nation. As ambassador at large, McCaleb will serve in a capacity similar to that of the late Charles Blackwell, who was Chickasaw Nation Ambassador to the United States from 1995 until his death Jan. 2.

“We believe Neal McCaleb is uniquely qualified to continue to build on Ambassador Blackwell’s legacy of diplomacy and statesmanship,” said Anoatubby. “Neal has earned the respect of tribal, state and national leaders during a distinguished career that spans several decades.

“His life’s work as a public servant is marked by professionalism, integrity and dedication. We believe his breadth of experience and depth of knowledge will continue to be a great asset to the Chickasaw Nation as he serves in this new and expanded role.”
