Commission seeks rebids on Agri-Plex RV hookups

Ada —  

Pontotoc County Commissioners decided Monday to ask for re-bids for construction of new recreational vehicle (RV) hookups to be built at the Agri-Plex.

Commissioners felt the first bids were either too high or not clear on specifics.

Last week,  commissioners said they might go outside the county to look for more bids, but there was no discussion of that Monday.

The motion will result in construction companies being asked to itemize their bids. “We need a turn-key number from them so we’ll know what our total costs are going to be,” Commissioner Gary Starns said.
