Ada — A Servant’s Heart to perform at FUMC

The First United Methodist Church of Ada will be hosting A Servant’s Heart at both the 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. services on Sunday. The group will be performing a variety of music including some patriotic songs. The church will be celebrating the Fourth of July with patriotic songs as well. The church is located at 14th and Broadway. For more information, call 580-332-1398.

 

St. Luke’s to host Visitor’s Sunday

St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, located at 17th and Broadway, will host a Visitor’s Sunday on June 29. Worship will begin at 9 a.m., with brunch to follow. The sermon and worship booklet will be designed to make worship more user-friendly. Members of St. Luke’s are encouraged to bring a friend and the public is invited. 

 

Elmore City FBC holding God and Country celebration June 29

The First Baptist Church of Elmore City will be hosting its 14th annual God and Country Celebration on Sunday, June 29, at the Elmore City Lake. Music will begin at 5:30 p.m. The food line will start at 6 p.m. The fireworks will be around 9:30 p.m. There will be hot dogs, music, singing, volleyball, moon bounce and face painting. Bring extra water, lawn chairs and bug spray. Swimming is not allowed at this event. The Elmore City Lake is located three blocks north of the four-way on SH 74. Big screen returns to H2O Church

The big screen is coming to H2OChurch.cc. Popular movies are shown, and a message is taught through the movie. The messages will be on at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and noon Sundays, July 6 through July 20, at H2O Church, 108 W. Main St., in Ada.
