Latta student to compete at International Science Fair

Ada — Will Ellison, a sophomore from Latta High School, won the East Central Oklahoma Regional Science and Engineering Fair this spring and will be competing in May at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles.  

During that prestigious competition, he will be competing against approximately 1,500 students from countries all over the globe. 

He will present his findings to a host of expert judges from the field of science.

Ellison's project, "A Study of Windmill Blade Length on Noise and Electricity Production and Temperature Change," was named Best of Show at the regional competition held at East Central University.  

He received the prize of an all-expense-paid trip to the ISEF competition.  

Ellison is the son of Shane and Michelle Ellison. 

He will be accompanied by his science teachers, Chase McMichael and Susie Edens.
