In 2011 she was honored as one of The Journal Record’s 50 Women of the Year in Oklahoma. She serves on the Board of Directors for McCalls Chapel School in Ada and is co-chair for the Puttin’ on the Ritz 60th Anniversary Gala. She also serves on the Foundation Board for Mercy Hospital Ada (formerly Valley View) and on the Executive Board for the OCU School of Law. Coleman-Norris is also Director for the Group Legal Services Association and the ABA Standing Committee on Group Legal Plans. She has previously served on the Board of Directors for the Ada Boys & Girls Club and Leadership Oklahoma.
She and her husband, Ty Norris, have two children, Bailey Norris, a junior at the University of Oklahoma, and Coleman Prince, a student at Ada Junior High School. She has enjoyed running for sport and health for years, completing triathlons and three New York City Marathons, and is currently training for her fourth NYC Marathon in October.
