Sample ballots ready; early voting slated

Ada —

Sample ballots now are available at the Pontotoc County Election Board office for voters who want to get a preview of what will be at stake in the general election on Nov. 6.

Marilyn McDaniel, secretary of the election board, said that sample ballots can be viewed at the Election Board office, located at 131 W. 13th in Ada, during regular office hours, 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Sample ballots also will be posted outside every precinct polling place Tuesday so voters may review them before casting their votes.

Advanced — or early — voting will be Friday and Monday prior to the Tuesday general election.

Ballots may be cast at the election board. On Tuesday, voters must cast ballots at their assigned precinicts.
