Commission mulls activity at Agri-Plex

Ada —

Pontotoc County commissioners Monday discussed allowing a charitable organization to use the Agri-Plex for a fundraising event.

Diane Wilson spoke with commissioners concerning holding an event at the Agri-Plex to benefit an equine therapy center. Wilson said she was there on behalf of Darrel Householder, who wanted to hold an endurance marathon to raise money for the non-profit he created.

Householder, who has multiple sclerosis (MS), believes his condition improved by working with horses and wants to help others using the same methods.
