Pontotoc County Democrats to host county convention

Ada —  

     The Pontotoc County Democratic Party will hold their county convention at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 6.

     The location of the convention will be the Pontotoc County Agri-Plex, located at the corner of Broadway Avenue and Lonnie Abbott. The meeting room is located on the north side of the Agri-Plex. All residents of Pontotoc County who are also registered Democrats are welcome to attend the event.

     The purpose of the convention is to elect new party officers and select delegates to attend the upcoming district and state party conventions. Party rules specify that the meeting begins promptly at 10 a.m.; therefore, it is requested that participants arrive on time in order to ensure their representation during the convention’s proceedings.
