The Ada News
More than 60 volunteers collected 300 bags of debris and trash around the city and then were treated to a hot barbecue meal at St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
Volunteers were confronted with a cold day of work, Pappas said, as a cold front marched through Ada Sunday night. However, the hot lunch proved to be just what the volunteers needed to end their day. The project was coordinated and financially supported by East Central University's Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society, the committee and Ada Sunrise Rotary Club.
