Coal County wreck hurts Wilson man

Coalgate —  

A 21-year-old Wilson man is listed in stable condition after a one vehicle accident Wednesday in Coal County where alcohol is suspect as a contributing factor.

Cody Whatley's 1998 Chevy pickup was headed eastbound on SH 43 when it left the roadway and struck a culvert. He was air lifted to Plano Medical Center with leg injuries. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said it suspects Whatley was driving under the influence.
