Adans report Christmas thefts

Ada —  

It was a merry Christmas for somebody, but certainly not as merry as some had hoped.

Jay Allen of Ada called police on Christmas morning when he discovered that two of the presents he’d put under the Christmas tree had been — well, stolen.

Police are hoping that numbers the family provided on the stolen items and then entered into the National Crime Information Computer system will help them recover the lost items.

It wasn’t the only house that got “Grinched” on the big day. 

A  college student reported her house had been broken into on Christmas Day, just two days after she moved out of an East Central University  dorm and into the house as a single mother.
