Fund-raiser planned for injured Roff student

Roff — Roff residents are planning a fund raiser to help a sixth-grade Roff student who was badly burned at his home Jan. 20.

He has a long road to recovery after receiving burns to his face and upper torso.

An Indian taco and silent auction will be held 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Roff Student Center in the gym.

The meal costs $6 and includes a taco, drink and dessert.

The silent auction will include donated items, themed baskets and reportedly a football autographed by Adrian Peterson.

Donations for the family can be made through the First Baptist Church in Roff at P.O. Box 235, Roff, OK 74865.
