Ada —

A brazen thief hit Walmart Saturday morning and made off with several thousand dollars worth of electronics.

The crime occurred in the pre-dawn hours. Walmart loss prevention officers said a woman stole 47 iPhones during the robbery, according to a police report. Loss prevention officers notified Ada police after the incident.

“After watching the video, the unknown black female entered in the north entrance at 2:31 a.m. and broke the window to the phone case at 2:37 a.m.,” Ada Police Officer Kevin Heck said in a report, “leaving through the same north exit at 2:43 a.m. It is believed that the unknown female had a person waiting in a vehicle for her to exit the business.”

Heck said the vehicle is described as a dark-colored Chrysler 300. All evidence and information, including video footage and still photos, were turned over to detectives.
