Vietnam veterans wall to be in Ada

Ada —

East Central University and Ada communities will have the opportunity to pay tribute to Vietnam veterans as the AVTT Traveling Wall, an 80 percent scale version of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C., will be on display on the ECU campus from noon May 2 to 3 p.m. on May 5.

The wall, presented by the American Veterans Traveling Tribute, will be located on the Centennial Plaza, directly across from the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center.

“Viewing the Traveling Wall is a time to reflect on those who gave their lives for this country and briefly experience a critical time in our nation’s history,” said ECU President John Hargrave.
