Video helps locate burglary suspects

Ada —

      The kind of video surveillance tape that helped lead law enforcement agencies in Boston to the alleged perpetrators of the bombings at the Boston Marathon last week, may have proved just as helpful in Ada this week, helping law officers, run down two accused burglary suspects at the Economy Inn Thursday. 

Darrian Marie Sherwood, 19,  and Jessie Eugene Willis,  22, both of Ada, were arrested at the Economy Inn, after police looked at some incriminating video provided by two local stores.

APD Detective Tommy Cosper believes the department has solved up to 10 recent burglaries in this area, as a result of these arrests a day earlier when Ada Police and the District Attorney’s Drug Task Force converged on the motel.
