3 arrested in drug bust

Ada — Three people were arrested in connection with the making of methamphetamine Monday.

Ada Police Captain Jeff Crosby said the APD Narcotics Unit arrested the suspects after a short investigation.

“We’d been investigating these people at the house for a little while,” Crosby said. “We had reason to believe they were selling and manufacturing methamphetamine.

Amanda Reed, 22, Ada, was arrested at her residence in the 100 block of E. 16th. Landon E. Littell, 26, and Kyle W. Rector, 27, both of Ada, were arrested shortly after leaving Reed’s residence before the bust.

Littell and Rector were arrested on suspicion of endeavoring to make meth, possession of meth within 1,000 feet of a daycare, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (xanax) within 1,000 feet of a daycare, use of a police scanner in the commission of a felony and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Reed was arrested on suspicion of maintaining a residence resorted to by drug users, endeavoring to make meth, possession of meth within 1,000 feet of a daycare, possession of a controlled dangerous substance within 1,000 feet of a daycare and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Crosby said the narcotics unit found drugs at the residence during the raid.

“We found meth, pseudoephedrine, marijuana and other chemicals used to make meth,” Crosby said.
