Letter to the Editor

Ada —  

Dear Airshow enthusiasts,

Welcome everyone to the Ada Municipal Airport and the 2011 Ada Air Expo/Ray Stout Memorial Warbird  Flyin and Pigs Can Fly BBQ contest June 24 and 25, celebrating the 100th anniversary of Naval Aviation.  You will find many things to do and to see, and I trust that you and your family will have a memorable experience.  If this will be your first time at the Ada Air Expo, I offer you a special word of welcome.  

As you will soon discover, there are exciting things to do and see at an air show. You will definitely have a great time, but listen to the announcer for special announcements concerning weather or other safety issues.  Use your sun block and drink plenty of fluids.  

Once again, thanks for planning to be  here, and if any of us on the Expo staff can help you, please let us know.  Without our sponsors and our devoted fans, we could not accomplish such a great task.
