Al Bostick to present folktales and stories for children in Ada

Al Bostick will be at the Ada Public Library on Saturday, Feb. 16, at 10:30 a.m. to present folktales and stories for children of all ages.  

Master storyteller Bostick specializes in African American stories.  Listen to the sounds of the jungle, listen to the beat of the drum, follow the African trickster, arachnid, Anansi the Spider, as he dupes the larger animals.

Other stories Bostick frequently tells include: The Little Old Lady Who Swallowed The Fly, Why Mosquitoes Buzz in People’s Ears and Why Animals Are the Way They Are.

This special storytelling event is free and open to the public.
