Ada — Higgins, Roach    to marry Oct. 4

Amanda Joy Higgins and Adam Paul Roach will marry Oct. 4, 2013,  in Edmond. Ryan Mortsinger of Life Church will officiate.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Alton and Anita Higgins of Moore. She is the granddaughter of Bill and Rose Shields, and the late Alton and Jenny Higgins. A graduate of Moore High School, she is a multidisciplinary graduate of Oklahoma University. She is pursuing a doctorate in pharmacy and plans to specialize in her field.

Parents of the future bridegroom are John and Cindy Roach, Ada. He is the grandson of Paul and Lola Thompson, Ada, and Patricia Roach, Ada,  and the late Charles Roach.

A graduate of Byng High School, he is an accounting/finance graduate of Oklahoma State University.

He is employed as an assistant manager of the Midland division of MidFirst Bank of Oklahoma City. He is pursuing a Master of Business Administration from Oklahoma State University and certification as a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst.
