Bread of Life Ministry offers free meal

Ada First Baptist Church Bread of Life Ministry offers a free meal to those in the community who are in need. The meal is served from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month in the church dining room, 521 S. Broadway Ave., Ada. The next meal is Thursday, Sept. 19. Bible lessons offered on key to Heaven

New Life Apostolic Faith Church offers special Bible lessons on the disciple that holds the key to the kingdom of Heaven. — Acts 2:38.

Kristiane Smith admitted to seminary

Kristiane Smith, a resident of Konawa, has been admitted into the Special Student program at United Theological Seminary for Fall 2013 semester.

United Theological Seminary, located in Dayton,  Ohio, is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. United serves students from all faith traditions and offers graduate level degrees including Master of Divinity, Master of Theological Studies, Master of Arts in Christian Ministries, Doctor of Ministry, Basic Graduate Theological Studies.

 

Mickey Hollars helps pastor Ada church

For 33 years Robert Eberle, pastor of Ada Baptist Temple, has lovingly founded the church and guided its growth.  The church currently averages approximately 200 in  church attendance, brings around 60 on buses each week and supports 25 missionaries.

Because of health issues, Mickey Hollars, pastor, has come in to help in the pastorate.
