Family Matters series begins

ADA — Life Community Church hosts Family Matters, a new sermon series by Mickey Keith, senior pastor. The series runs from Sept. 8-29 at the Sunday 10 a.m. service and is open to the public. Over four consecutive weeks, Keith will discuss the importance of Christianity in the family covenant and its value in all relationships.

St. Luke’s to host

rummage sale

On Saturday, Sept. 7,  from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., St. Luke’s Episcopal Church will host a church-wide rummage sale in the church's parish hall. Furniture, sewing machines, artwork, linens and more will be available. 

St. Luke’s is located at 17th and Broadway, with the entryway on  17th Street.


New sermon series begins Sept. 15

Ada First Free Will Baptist Church announces a new sermon series by Derek Altom, pastor.

Beginning Sunday morning, Sept. 15, Derek will be launching a new series titled “Stand Firm:  A Study of the Book of 1 Peter.” Sunday morning worship begins at 10:30 a.m.

Xtreme Teen event set at ABT church

Ada Baptist Temple Church youth pastor Caleb Prenevost will lead the third annual Xtreme Teen event Monday through Wednesday, Sept. 9-11, from 7-9 p.m.

The purpose of the event is to teach and challenge young people to give their lives to the Lord Jesus and live a life of victory and joy.

Special persons to be honored at Roff

The Pentecostal Holiness Church at 601 E. Main St. in Roff celebrates its special persons of the month in a special service Sunday,   Sept. 15, at 12:30 p.m.
