Hibley, Raley to exchange vows

Ada —

Starla Dawn Hibler and J. Michael Raley announce their engagement and approaching marriage  Saturday, May 18, 2013, at 4 p.m., at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Ada. 

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Harold T. and Elena Hibler, Braidwood, Ill.  She holds a doctor of musical arts degree from the University of North Texas and has been on the faculty at East Central University for the past 22 years.  This fall she will open a piano studio in Madison, Ind.

The prospective groom is the son of Rose Lee Raley, Marion, Ill., and the late James Raley. He holds a Ph.D. in medieval European history from the University of Chicago. He has recently accepted an appointment as a member of the history faculty at Hanover College in Hanover, Ind.

The couple will reside in Madison, Ind., where they have purchased an historic home built in 1847.
