Local man invents a better briquette

Ada —

What if you had a charcoal briquette that didn’t rub off in your hands? What if it would ignite without being soaked in lighter fluid, either before purchase or after?

Bill McFarland has an invention that will allow him to apply his secret coating to any briquette and turn it into a  safe, hot burning, family-friendly, super briquette.

He’s more than happy to demonstrate.

Charcoal from his coated briquettes really doesn’t rub off in your hands,and this time before he lets go of his invention, the retired Ada man would like a little more out of it than an “atta boy.” 

If a few bucks come his way in the end,  so be it.

Several years ago when he was with a corporate giant, that’s exactly what he got with another invention.

“Atta boy.”
