Kerrs honored on 60th anniversary

Pickett — Don and Margie Kerr, Pickett, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary .

Their children are hosting a reception from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, at fellowship hall of Free Will Baptist Church.

Don Kerr and Margie Wainscott were married Nov. 14, 1953, at Bridgeport, Okla. Mr. Kerr began working for the city of Ada in 1961. He retired in 1999. Mrs. Kerr is a homemaker. She also worked various part-time jobs to help support the family. They are members of First Free Will Baptist Church.

Their children include Keith Kerr and his wife, Debra, of Stonewall, Dawna K. Hutchings of Ardmore, Kennith Kerr and his wife, Linda Sue, of Wilburton, and Karon R. Roundtree, Stonewall. They have eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family requests no gifts; however, they will appreciate lots of memories to be shared.
