Rebekah Husted, Matthew Lynam to marry May 18


Dr. and Mrs. Benjamin Husted, Prague,  announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebekah, to Matthew Lynam, son of Michael and Lenora Lynam of Lindsborg, Kan.

Miss Husted is the granddaughter of Willard and Iva Lois Sliger of Stonewall and the late Donald and Grace Husted. She is a 2005 graduate of Prague High School and completed her bachelor’s degrees in political science and journalism and her master’s degree in strategic communication at the University of Oklahoma. She is currently employed at the Southwest Oklahoma City Library.

Mr. Lynam is the grandson of Lila Alfers,  Axtell, Kan., and the late Bernard Alfers; and the late Clyde and Erma Lynam. He is a 2002 graduate of Smoky Valley High School and received his bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and Bible at Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kan. He is a current doctoral candidate in mathematics at the University of Oklahoma.

The wedding is planned for 2 p.m. May 18, 2013, at the Husted home in Prague. Friends and family of the bride and groom are invited to attend.
