First Methodist Church conducts healing service

ADA — A healing service is scheduled Sunday, Jan. 20, at 5 p.m. in Rollow Chapel of First United Methodist Church, 129 W. 14th.  The meeting is open to those with areas of their life they would like to commit to God. The service will include the sacrament of Holy Communion.

Asbury Methodist Church hosts special services

ADA — Asbury Methodist Church, 508 W. 6th, hosts Second Helpings and the Way services on the second Sunday of each month. Second Helpings meets at 6 p.m. and the Way at 6:15 p.m. Services are open to the public.

 

Food ministry at Philemon Baptist Church postponed

ADA — The food ministry hosted by Philemon Baptist Church, 3101 Ware Drive, has been postponed until Saturday, Jan. 26, from 10 a.m. until noon. For more information, phone 332-2063.

 

Gospel singing set at Rose Assembly Full Gospel Church

ADA — Rose Assembly Full Gospel Church, 431 W. 7th, hosts a gospel singing at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18.

Singers include Al Brown and Company, Ada, Connerstone, McAlester, and Jan and Virgel, Walters.

Kingsmen Quartet in concert at Connerville church

CONNERVILLE — The Kingsmen Quartet performs at Blue Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18. The church is located on state Highway 177/99 at Connerville.

The event is free and open to the public.

 

College Heights women hosts Christian fellowship event

ADA — College Heights Baptist Church, 927 E. 7th St., invites all ladies interested in good food and   Christian fellowship to join them Saturday, Jan. 19, for its monthly “Ladies Breakfast” at 10 a.m. For more information, phone Pat at 421-6556.
